During recital season, it definitely takes a village. Lately James has been spending a lot of time away from Mommy, and a lot of time with, well, anyone who will take him. He has had a lot of family (and drop-in nursery) quality time. It’s always nice to get a picture text or email to see how my little shadow is doing.
It’s a relief to see that regardless of his sobbing goodbye, he seems to adjust well to the undivided attention he gets when I’m away.
Although sometimes a sitter may just put him in a laundry basket,
he tries to make the most of every situation. And who wouldn’t, with this little Ellie Belle?
Thank you Sandy, G-G, Laurie, Aunt Beth, Uncle David, Mom, Dad and Justin for all the extra time you’ve spent with James lately. And thank you, Ellie, for all your patience with your younger cousin.
I can only hope that my son was not responsible for this one.
