Inside and out.

Now that it’s sweltering hot, James wants to do nothing more than play outside all day every day.  The only way in my opinion is to let him play in water so, it cools him down.

We typically end our day outside before dinner and a bath.  With or without a diaper.

That way, we work up an appetite (by mowing the hay field lawn),

and can get as messy as we want before bath time

For such a smiling kid, I rarely get smiles from him while outside.  I get his concentration face.  Looking down with his lower lip sticking out and eyebrows slightly furrowed means he’s having a great time. 

James is all boy.  He loves cars, balls, trains, music and making messes.  He’s one cool little kid.  Inside and out.
