There are three things to me that make the Fourth of July. A beach or pool, a cookout, and family. And I was blessed this Fourth to have them all.
Especially my sweet baby James.
And my sweet baby veteran.
It’s hard to believe how much James has changed in just one year.

Grammy and Papa came in town for the holiday weekend. Grammy hadn’t seen James in record time so, she and Papa had some catching up to do with their baby.
My little James is somewhat becoming a cuddler. And I love it!
We had a well-rounded weekend…
Playing cards.
Playing in the sand
Playing cornhole.
Wrestling with Papa.
And we kept busy...
Taking phone calls.
Taking cookbooks out of Grammy’s bag. {No, that’s not chicka chicka boom boom}
Taking liquor out of Papa’s bag. {No, that’s not apple juice}
And taking care of our puppy (who is not a fan of the fireworks).
We had a couple of people over, and I slacked on the photography. Here are my two pictures from the entire evening on Sunday.
Some of the boys and Callie enjoying the fireworks.
And a not-so-centered-self-taken-picture of my baby and me.
The next morning, we celebrated our Fourth of July by the pool at Sandy’s house. And that will be Part 2, because I need a blogging breather! And you probably do to. :)
Love all the pics! Fun times! :)
