On the 4th of July, we packed up what felt like our entire house and headed to the pool! James didn’t waste any time getting in the water.
Even Lynyrd came along to celebrate America.
Papa gave James swimming lessons and showed him how to blow bubbles.
Nanny Sasa played with her grandson,
and tolerated her grandpuppy (spike collar and all).
Daddy and James played their favorite water game of toss and catch me.
And Grammy cuddled with her baby after his nap, while he snacked saying his new favorite word: “nnnnnnnnack!”
We were surrounded by love this holiday. James was in heaven.
But who wouldn’t be, with these two?
I can hardly go one week without seeing these girls (and their Mama). I love them so much.
James LOVES them, too. And I can’t blame him; this little guy
is well-taken care of by these ladies.
And let’s not leave out Daddy Jay. We love him, too. Every time Justin and I are around him and his girls, we talk about how much we want a daughter.
There is nothing sweeter to me than a daddy/daughter bond. A Daddy that will do anything for his daughter.
And a daughter that will melt the heart of her Daddy.
But for now, this little guy melts the hearts around our home. And we couldn’t feel more blessed. {Our last picture of Our Fourth}
Happy 4th of July! And thank you to all of our soldiers and their families!
