Isle of Palms

We decided to go to Charleston for the weekend, because James had not yet seen the ocean this summer.  After our wonderful beach experience, we can officially say that JAMES LOVES THE BEACH!

Our baby was in heaven.

I don’t know what he loved the most.  The sand…

The surf…

Or the two hours these wrinkled toes played in the water…

And the refreshments were just a bonus…

I actually think James loved running around the most.  Being free.  With no limits.

Diligently exploring the wondrous beach.

He didn’t cry or fuss one time.  He was happy as ever.  In fact, the only time he cried is when he realized we were leaving.  This was the best vacation our family has had.  He slept as well as he does at home.  We were busy.  But he was happy.  It was refreshing.

We enjoyed our time with our cousins, Katie and Jason.  While James enjoyed his time with not one dog “ddddock!”, but two!

James and Baxter especially had a great time.

We had a perfect weekend away.  So good that it makes me want to pack the car right back up and do it again!  Thank you, Aunt Katie and Uncle Jason for letting our hurricane hit your house. :)  We love you guys.

:) "James loved running around the most. Being free. With no limits." Makes me smile each time I read it.
